In continuation to the technical preparations that the Operator Total is undertaking to drill the first exploration well in the Lebanese maritmie waters’ block 4, Lundstrom Tide docked at the Beirut Port. Lundstrom Tide is one of three service ships that will provide logistical support for the drill ship Tungsten Explorer.

The ship Lundstrom Tide will transport the equipment and materials that the drill ship will use from the supply base in Beirut Port to the drill ship, such as liquid mud, cement, pipes and other drilling equipment.

The service ship will also patrol the area around the drill ship to secure the safety zone surrounding the drill ship with a radius of up to 500 m.
