Mr. Walid Nasr - Acting Chairman of the LPA and Head of the Strategic Planning Unit - joined a delegation headed by Prime Minister Saad Hariri that took part in the UAE- Lebanon investment forum held in Abu Dhabi.

The forum, sponsored by the UAE Economy Ministry and the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce aims to boost economic cooperation between the two countries. In that regard, Nasr discussed investments opportunities in light of the ongoing exploration phase and in light of Lebanon's Second Offshore Licensing Round. Nasr emphasised on public private partnerships and capital investments required in the upstream petroleum sector and how the Lebanese legislative framework sets the ground enabling such cooperation.
